Shawn Tolleson

President, Director of Health Initiatives
-
Ex-MLB, CHHC, CPT

Shawn Tolleson is a former MLB pitcher who has collected several accolades in his time playing at both the collegiate and professional levels. He reached the apex of his career in 2015, only to hit rock bottom a year later due to health concerns. He experienced lack of energy, chronic pain and inflammation, and began to gain weight.

At the same time, Shawn's seemingly healthy, fit, and active father was diagnosed with two forms of stage four cancer. He began to realize and understand that there is something deeper and more complex going on that determines how well we age. Shawn was able to use a combination of genetic insight, lab work, food, supplements, exercise, biohacking, and recovery techniques to climb back to the top of his life, and he began to help others do the same.

He went back to school to finish his degree in Health Sciences from Baylor University. Shawn also gained certifications to become a functional health coach and a personal trainer. Shawn quickly launched into a career coaching purpose-driven executives and entrepreneurs on how to lose weight, cut body fat, have more energy, and reverse the aging process. Over the years, he has amassed an enormous amount of actionable information in the field of optimized health, human performance, longevity, and disease prevention. Shawn has a gift of pairing modern science together with ancient wisdom.

Shawn is happily married to his high school sweetheart and they have 3 beautiful children. He enjoys spending time outside with his family (and dogs) hiking, camping, and playing sports. Shawn also volunteers coaching youth baseball teams in his community. Lastly, he leads a group of young adults at his church and serves the church as a deacon.

Fun Fact: Shawn can smell sneezes. Seriously!
