Over the past decade and a half, Dr. Daniel Melville has enjoyed a diverse and successful medical career, in academic and private sectors, concierge services to conventional medical practices, and in the Emergency Room to outpatient clinics. He leads by example by focusing on the mind, body, and spirit himself, often self-experimenting the health-oriented protocols that he helps to formulate in partnership with his patients.

He was a distinguished graduate of the United States Air Force Academy before going onto medical school at Louisiana State University College of Medicine. Dr. Melville was then Chief Resident of the Louisiana State University Health Science Center Family andCommunity Medicine. His served as Medical Director of Inpatient and OutpatientServices for the University of Kentucky, before he brought his family to Southlake, Texas to settle down. His career then took various turns as he entered emergency medicine and family medicine, and he then landed as Medical Director of Destination Health.

Dr. Melville engages an investigative and preventative approach to each patient he serves.He is a National Speaker for the Bale Done Cardiovascular Heart Attack and StrokePrevention Method, a certified provider of BioTE Hormone Replacement Therapy, a certified provider of the ReCODE Demential Risk and Reduction Protocol, and has been published in seven peer reviewed textbooks and publications.

Dr. Melville has successfully participated in a Half Iron Man, two full marathons, several half Marathons and many sprint-series triathlons. He has been married to his wife, Dr.Sonya Melville, who is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine for 22 years. They have four incredibly unique and amazing kids!

FUN FACT: Even though both Mom and Dad are physicians, not one of his four children has aspirations to go into a health profession, and all four kids can’t even think straight when they see the sight of blood!
